2013 Diamond Volunteer Award

diamondvolunteerOur Coalition was honored as one of this year’s Diamond Volunteer Award winners on Thursday, February 28th, 2013 at a cocktail reception held at the Von Liebig Art Center. The event was given to thank board members and volunteers for their hours of dedicated service to the community.

Accolades for the volunteers were the focus of the reception. Kelly E. Capolino, founder of the Diamond Volunteer Award, presented a framed award to Dr. Todd Vedder, Board of Directors Chair and Paula DiGrigoli,  Executive Director of the Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition. The award read: “ In recognition of the valuable contributions your organization makes   through facilitating partnerships with local agencies to develop synergistic programs that address defined health and injury prevention issues involving Collier County youth. Through the dedication of your volunteers and board members, injuries and fatal accidents have been prevented.”

Kelly Capolino and her wonderful volunteers put on a wonderful reception and the venue couldn’t have been better! How do we even begin to thank her!!! THANK YOU!!

We wanted to share a letter that we recieved from  Kelly  E. Capolino about the Diamond Volunteer Award and her gift to our Coalition.

Subject: Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition Appreciation

Dear Friends of Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition,

Volunteering and helping others in need is a true passion of mine. Over the years, I have been generous with my time volunteering for numerous organizations.  And during high economic times, I was also generous with my monetary donations to favorite non-for profits.  Today, I find myself short of time. I don’t have the extra time to donate my volunteer hours but I can do my part by thanking you.

When I was volunteering, I did realize that a “thank you” kept me going, not that I needed it, but as a being human that simple “thank you” gave me the spirit and energy to keep giving.

In that spirit – THANK YOU!

Yes, thank you for giving your efforts to the Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition, a wonderful non-profit organization.

I’d like to offer a GIFT to the Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition and their friends and family.

I will offer a portion of my income to the Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition you simply call me with a name of a friend or even a “for sale by owner” who may need help in buying or selling a home. I can even follow up anonymously if you like and still benefit our non-for profit.  For every name that ends in a sale or purchase, I will donate 15% of my income to Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition.

Here is the DIAMOND VOLUNTEER REFERRAL FORM

Thank you, together we will “grow” volunteerism in Collier County and Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition.

About the founder – Kelly E. Capolino:
Local real estate professional, Kelly E. Capolino, founded the Diamond Volunteer Program in 2009 as a way to honor hardworking volunteers of non-profit organizations. Besides sitting on several non-profit boards, chairing fundraising committees for others, she is also a volunteer for other organizations and knows the importance of being thanked. As founder of the Diamond Volunteer Program and one of the organizers of the Thinking Outside of the Box seminar series, Capolino realizes that many non-profits do not have the funds to thank their volunteers. This is the very reason she founded her programs, both, promote, educate and aid non-profit organizations.

Capolino is a real estate professional with Keating Associates. She has been named a real estate “Listing Leader” and “Top Producer” in Naples for many years. Her expertise in real estate is far-reaching with extensive knowledge and experience in luxury properties, acreage properties, investment properties, and renovation opportunities.

Capolino’s office is located in downtown Olde Naples on 5th Avenue South. She can be reached at 239-877-6700 or 239-262-6606 ext. 319 or online at Kelly@Naples.net  or athttp://www.KeatingRealty.com.  To find out more, contact Kelly Capolino’s office.
