3rd Annual Big Bus Event in Immokalee/ Ciclovia – Saturday, October 1st 10:00 a.m. – 1 p.m.

This free health fair and public awareness campaign is geared towards providing opportunities for individuals and families to receive certain health services and information.   Eight big buses will be on site to provide health services to those who visit.  Over 50 additional agencies will be providing free health services and information as well.

11th Annual United Way Run & Walk 4 The Way 5K – Saturday, October 1st

North Collier Regional Park

5k Run Begins at  7:30 AM

1.2 Miles Walk Begins at 7:45 AM

Runners will receive a same day admission pass to Sun-N-Fun park, race shirt, and EARN a finisher medal

“The Pool and Spa Safety Educators program includes the tools to train firefighters regarding backyard pool and spa safety so they can educate the public and perform voluntary safety checks of home pool and spa installations, ensuring their communities are as safe as possible regarding water safety. This program will give the fire department  tools and actionable data to help make the families in Collier County safer.  The training will give the station chiefs the ability to scale the program and sustain the effort for years to come.” Mario Vittone will be conducting this training. Mario is a national wide expert in maritime operations with a focus on safety, security, and rescue.

Children’s Dentistry of Naples will be collecting Halloween candy at $1 per pound.  All candy collected will be donated to American       troops that are serving overseas. Children’s Dentistry of Naples will also  Be donating matching funds to C’mom!
