BRAVO! Cucina Italiana at the Mercato Raises Nearly $2,800 for
NCH Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition of Collier County
Naples, Fla. – Nov. 14th, 2013 – Continuing its support of local charities, the team at BRAVO! Cucina Italiana at the Mercato in
Naples raised $2,797 for the NCH Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition of Collier County on Oct. 24, at its 2nd Annual Dine at BRAVO! fundraising event. The funds represent 20 percent of all of the restaurant’s food sales from that day, as well as proceeds from a raffle drawing for a dinner for eight at the Oct. 25, 3rd Annual Save a Life Germain BMW of Naples Golf Scramble charity golf tournament. BRAVO! at the Mercato also donated gift cards for one of the winning foursomes at the tournament.
Chris Prince, former general manager of BRAVO! at the Mercato and current BRAVOIBRIO Restaurant Group (BBRG) South Florida/Naples district partner, presented the check to C. Todd Vedder, MD FAAP, chair of NCH Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition of Collier County, at the tournament.
“At BRAVO! and all BBRG restaurants, we are honored to continuously support local charities such as NCH Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition of Collier County,” said Prince. “We truly enjoy giving back to the community and making a difference.”
“I extend my sincerest thanks to BRAVO! at the Mercato for the donations it made to NCH Safe & Healthy Children’s Coalition of Collier County,” said Vedder. “Because of the generosity of BRAVO! and other community supporters, we were able to raise nearly $48,000 at the tournament, in our ongoing efforts to eliminate drowning deaths, reduce unsafe sleep deaths, and combat childhood obesity in Collier County.”
