During the month of May we are partnering again with Dunkin’ Donuts to increase awareness of Water Safety! They will be selling “Life Saver” custom donuts and displaying a water safety poster at all Collier County stores.  Special thanks to franchise owner Michael Koroglian for helping us to spread this important message.

International Water Safety Day is designed to help spread global awareness of the ongoing drowning pandemic, and educate the youth in becoming safer in and around water. May 15th is a day to spread drowning awareness and water safety education by any means possible. The lack of water safety education has propelled drownings worldwide. Through interdependence, we can change that. According to the World Health Organization, a staggering 372,000 people lose their lives to drowning each year. Every hour, every day, more than 40 people lose their lives to drowning;
We have #InternationalWaterSafetyDay stickers, please let us if you would like to have some for your agency to wear on May 15th.
Thursday, May 23rd
